Chinese New Year Detritus

Comfortable Painting/Pillow

Digital print and textile paint on silk

If you stroll the streets of Chinatown right after the Chinese New Year's parade, you'll notice that quite a party was had--much of it still strewn along Canal Street. The streets at this time are paved in gold--and every other color in the rainbow--from exploding firecrackers to sparkly streamers. It's a glorious, colorful mess.
