The ESB is cool, but my focus was actually on the gorgeous white, Gilsey House, a cast-iron extravaganza built in 1871 at the northeast corner of 29th Street and Broadway. In the summer, the greenery and blooming hydrangea causes a serious case of rooftop garden envy.
